This component is for the upload and download of physical products in Virtuemart.

Product Management

It is a simple csv upload and download utility designed specifically for Virtuemart products. It allows you to manage large numbers of products easier than through the online interface.

If you sell products online and have more than a dozen or so, you know what a problem it can be to manage adding new products or updating current products. Using a spreadsheet to manage products is so much easier that you'll no longer dread the simple price changes or the mass data changes that used to take you all day.

The Excel Advantage

One of the big advantages is that you can now use the power of Excel to find and replace data. Give it a try and you'll see how nice it can be to quickly make changes to your products.

How Do I Get It?

The component is free. All you have to do is to sign up for our newsletter and once you confirm your email address you will be taken to a page with the download link. The newsletter signup is on this page to the upper right - it's a nav bar link.

Future Improvements

Watch this page for more options like exporting for Google Base, Yahoo Products, etc.

At the moment, this works for physical products only. We will be updating it to handle downloadable products soon.
